Marking Period 1
For the first marking period, we did a technology vs. science essay. Mine is shown below.

We also were told to start a PowerPoint for a holiday (can't be Christmas or New Years or something we all know about - needs to be more obscure) but it wasn't due until the second marking period.
Marking Period 2
We had to submit our holiday PowerPoint presentation during this marking period. Mine is below:

For the rest of this marking period, we did Hours of Code on Code.org and we learned about using Microsoft shortcuts to make it easier for us to work on Microsoft Word.
*Mine doesn't shows everything. Just the basics (I think) and maybe some other, less-known shortcuts.

We also did an assignment about tab stops to learn how to use the tab key and all the different type of tabs.
*The prices of the drinks at the end are made-up and probably way off. And the format got a little messed up.

Marking Period 3
For this marking period, we began working on our independent mini-projects (which we were supposed to work on if we wanted to get a higher score since it was extra credit) and we wrote an outline for it. I'm not going to upload that because I didn't feel like it was a major assignment in any way. There were also a lot of excuses and breaks on Tuesdays (which was when I had technology), so we missed out a ton of classes. Basically, this marking period really had nothing of note besides the typing assessment.
Marking Period 4
For this marking period, we started to work on Microsoft Excel and we continued our independent mini projects work. For this marking period and the previous one, I only worked on Code.org to get 5 extra credit points because I don't have the time or motivation to do any other types of extra credit. We did several lessons on Excel: a Magic Square lesson, an Excel lesson where you learned how to use other functions of Excel, and an Excel test. I only uploaded the Excel test because it's the only one that will look right here, since I didn't upload it from Word but from Excel.
