Marking Period 1
For this marking period, we began learning about basic phrases in Spanish and conjugations at the ends of words.
Marking Period 2
For the second marking period, we continued to learn Spanish words.
We had a brochure project to do about an artist that the Spanish teacher assigned us too. We had to work with a partner. My partner's and I's is shown below.
*The formatting for the second page got messed up. Things shouldn't all be stuck to one side. Sorry!

Marking Period 3
For the third marking period, we learned about stem changing verbs and clothing items. We also learned about special stem changing verbs such as tener (which means "to have" in Spanish), where although the beginning of the verb (the ten part) changes into tien- for most of the conjugations, for yo (the Spanish word for "I") it becomes tengo, which is different from the rule most stem changing verbs follow.
Marking Period 4
For this marking period, we continued our studies of stem changing verbs and continued our clothing unit. For our clothing unit, we also learned how to describe how a piece of clothing fits and the price of a clothing item. We also learned the conjugations of the verb ir, which is Spanish for "to go".
